Here are the terms and conditions for Play & Splash

Please read through carefully.

Please read carefully. By booking any service, you accept these terms in full. For questions or clarification, contact our team prior to your visit.

1. General Agreement and Consent

– By booking a session at GoPet Play & Splash, you confirm that you are the legal owner or authorised carer of the pet(s) attending.
– All dogs must be in good health, with no signs of coughing, nasal discharge, or gastrointestinal illness within the past 7 days.
– Vaccination against kennel cough is recommended but not mandatory. If your dog is showing any signs of respiratory disease, please do not attend.
– You consent to safe and appropriate handling by trained staff (where present), including physical support, restraint if needed, and low-stress techniques.
– You understand and accept that most activities are self-led and agree to supervise your dog(s) throughout the session.

2. Behaviour & Suitability

– Owners must disclose any behavioural concerns, including aggression, reactivity, fear responses, or resource guarding.
– Dogs exhibiting unsafe or disruptive behaviour may be removed from the session without refund, or moved to a private area at staff discretion.
– Dogs must be under control at all times on-site. If a dog poses a safety risk, we reserve the right to refuse service.

3. Grooming & Self-Service Policy

– Self-grooming is undertaken at the owner’s risk. You are responsible for handling and safety of your pet throughout.
– Equipment must be used responsibly. GoPet accepts no liability for injury, stress, or damage arising from improper use.
– The grooming area must be left clean. Excessive mess or damage may incur a cleaning or repair charge.

4. Enrichment & Play Sessions

– All enrichment sessions are supervised where possible and use positive, fear-free methods.
– While play is monitored where staff are present, dogs interact physically — minor injuries (e.g., scratches, fatigue) are possible and accepted as a risk.
– Dogs in group play must be well socialised. We may adjust or end a session if a dog appears distressed or over-stimulated.

5. Nurse Services & Wellness

– Nurse consults are non-diagnostic and do not substitute full veterinary consultations.
– Class IV laser therapy is performed with informed consent only. You acknowledge that outcomes may vary and results are not guaranteed.
– We reserve the right to discontinue any wellness service if your pet becomes overly stressed or uncooperative.

6. Booking, Cancellation & Payments

– Bookings must be made in advance. Walk-ins may be declined based on availability.
– 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. No-shows may be charged in full and future bookings may require prepayment.
– All services must be paid at the time of appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Supervision & Emergencies

– Most services at GoPet Play & Splash are self-led and unsupervised.
– While the space is monitored during opening hours, staff may not be present in the room during your session.
– In the event of an incident, an emergency assistance button is located beside the fire exit — please press for urgent help.
– For injuries or emergencies outside staff presence, you remain responsible for the care and restraint of your pet, including seeking veterinary assistance if needed.
– You agree to use the space responsibly and understand that misuse of the equipment or facilities is at your own risk.

8. Liability & Indemnity

– GoPet Play & Splash operates with the highest safety standards. However, participation is at the owner’s risk.

– Toys, grooming items, enrichment tools, and other equipment are used at your own risk. While we aim to provide safe products, any item chewed, ingested, or misused may pose a health hazard. You are responsible for supervising your pet and accept liability for injuries or complications that may arise.
– We are not liable for any injury, illness, emotional distress, or behavioural changes unless proven to result from gross negligence.
– You accept full responsibility for any injury or damage caused by your dog while on the premises or in a session.
– In emergencies, we may administer first aid or transfer your pet to a vet if needed. You agree to cover any associated costs.

9. Facility Use & Conduct

– Children under 16 must be supervised at all times and are not permitted in treatment or bathing areas.
– We may refuse access to anyone behaving in a disruptive, abusive, or unsafe manner.
– Dogs must arrive on a lead or in a carrier and remain under control at all times.
– CCTV is in operation throughout the facility for safety and monitoring purposes.

10. Media & Photography

– We may photograph or film sessions for marketing, training, or promotional purposes.
– Please notify us in writing in advance if you do NOT wish your pet to appear in any media content.
